1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage21.
3.Disconnectanycablesthatimpedeaccesstotherisercardassembly.
4.RemovetherisercardassemblytogetherwiththeinstalledEthernetcard.See“Removingtheriser
cardassembly”onpage36

5.Referto“RemovingaPCIcard”onpage39andfollowthoseinstructionstoremovetheEthernetcard
fromtherisercardassembly.
