TrustedPlatformModulesupport
ClientSecuritySolutionVersion8.2includessupportforthecomputer'sembeddedsecurityhardware--
theTrustedPlatformModule(TPM).ForWindows2000andXP,youmayneedtodownloaddriversforyour
system'sTPM.IfyouarerunningWindowsVista,andyourcomputerincludesaTPMsupportedbythe
operatingsystem,ClientSecuritySolutionwillusethedriverssuppliedbytheoperatingsystem.
EnablingoftheTPMmayrequireareboot,astheTPMisenabledbythesystem'sBIOS.IfrunningWindows
Vista,youmaybeaskedtoconrmtheenablementoftheTPMduringsystemstartup.
BeforeanyfunctionscanbecarriedoutbytheTrustedPlatformModule,ownershipmustrstbeinitialized.
EachsystemwillhaveoneClientSecuritySolutionadministratorthatwillcontroltheClientSecuritySolution
options.ThisadministratormusthaveWindowsadministratorprivileges.Theadministratorcanbeinitialized
usingXMLdeploymentscripts.
