latestversionofﬁrmware.Then,installtheﬁrmwaretoyourserver.

3.Updatethemachinetype,modelnumber,andserialnumberofthesystemboard.Eitheryouwill

bepromptedtodothiswhileupgradingtheBIOS,oryoucanlocatetheﬁlesforupdatingthe

VPDwithintheDOSBIOSpackage.Forsomeservers,theVPDutilityisavailablefordownload
