Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoreplacethesecondaryharddiskdrive.

Installingasecondaryharddiskdrive

Toinstallasecondaryharddiskdrive,dothefollowing:

1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall

powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.

2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage30.

3.Locatethesecondaryharddiskdrivebay.

4.Pressthereleasebutton1toreleasethesecondaryharddiskdrivecageandthenliftthecageoutof

thechassis.
