avoidhavingtomanuallycongurewirelesssettingsonyourtablet.Aftertheprocessiscomplete,thetablet
automaticallyconnectstothesameWi-FinetworksastheThinkPadhostcomputerdoes.
ToimportWi-FiprolesfromaThinkPadcomputertoyourtablet,youcaneithercapturetheWi-Fiproles
fromyourcomputerbyyourself,oraskyourITadministratortomanuallygeneratedeployableWi-Fiproles
andimportthemintoyourtablet.Forthelattermethod,consultyourITadministratorforfurtherhelp.

TocapturetheWi-FiprolesfromyourThinkPadnotebookcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Installaashmediacardintoyourtablet.TheashmediacardisusedtostorethecapturedWi-Fi
proles.See“Usingthe3-in-1mediacardreader”onpage39forinstructionsonhowtoinstalla
ashmediacard.
2.ConnectthetablettoyourcomputerwiththesuppliedUSBcableandselectTransferles(MTP).
3.LaunchAccessConnectionsfromyourcomputerandswitchtotheAdvancedview.
4.ClicktheT oolstabandclickExporttoAndroid.AlistofWi-Fiprolesisdisplayed.
5.SelecttheWi-FiprolesfromthelistandclickOK.
6.SelecttheCaptureWiFiconnectionproleradiobutton.
7.BrowsetheinstalledashmediacardinyourtabletasthetargetlocationtosavetheWi-Fiproles.
8.ClickOK.TheWi-Fiprolesaresavedandstoredontheashmediacardthatisinstalledinyourtablet.
9.ClickOKagainwhenpromptedforconrmation.
ImportingWi-Fiprolestoyourtablet
ToimporttheWi-Fiprolestoyourtablet,dothefollowing:
1.OpenAndroidSettingsandtouchWi-Fi.
2.TouchthemenuiconandtouchAdvanced.
3.TouchImport.
4.TouchtheWi-Fiprolesyouwanttoimport,andthentouchOK.
